The 80th-Annual National Donut Day will be celebrated onFriday, June 2, and you better believe CRUST has big plans to celebrate!
CRUST’s Donut Vault will be opened for just one day, and you’ll find we’re bringing back a huge assortment of donuts to mark the occasion. Pick up a few for the office, and you’ll be a hero all day long. We’re opening at 6 a.m. on National Donut Day, so you’ll have plenty of time to pick up your order that morning.
National Donut Day was originally created in 1938 by The Salvation Army to honor the women who served donuts and hot coffee to soldiers behind the front lines during World War I.
We’d like to continue the tradition of giving back, so CRUST will donate a portion of sales on June 2 toward summer lunch programs for students in our community. The more you buy; the more we give!
Take a look at the day’s selections and place your special orders by 11 a.m. onWednesday, May 31. Please note we require pre-payment on all special orders. Purchase 12 donuts, and the 13th is free!**

Local Empty Bowls April 22
Buy a bowl; fill a belly.
Saturday, April 22 from noon til 2pm, The Laundry and CRUST are partnering with the Art Department at Linden High School for a fifth consecutive year to present Empty Bowls.
Purchase a bowl crafted by an LHS art student or instructor, enjoy soup and bread donated by The Laundry and CRUST, and know 100% of the proceeds will go to providing summer food packages for local school-aged children. Bowls are $15 each, and the event runs from noon til 2pm in the Linden High School cafeteria, 7201 Silver Lake Rd, Linden.
Empty Bowls was founded by two art teachers in 1990, and now Empty Bowls events are organized by local potters and artists organizations, churches, community service organizations and schools all over the U.S. and Canada.
Linden art teacher Christina Vanchina brought the Empty Bowls program to Linden in 2013 in conjunction with the school’s Spring student art fair. For more info, click here.
